It will try and make you use the app (which is easier to navigate). It is completely free to use and you can customize notifications so that it doesn't run through your data plan 24/7. Don't be afraid, despite its name Discord is a pleasant tool to have.

Once you join, the default channel you land in is Monday Night Book Club. Please also check out the Reference Material channel.

Have any of you read the D&D novels? Would you like to?

I have read only Forgotten Realms books so far, but I have really enjoyed finding out so much background and detail from the cities of Faerun. Only, I dont have anyone to talk about all of this with, and I would like to build a group- if anyone is interested.

Here's the Wikipedia list of settings and then their individual title catalogs. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeons_%26_Dragons_(novels)

  1. I remember reading the novels in the 80s and 90s as they were just getting started and I saved all those books. I kept up with Drizzt, but I still missed a lot. Ed Greenwood and RA Salvatore were great guys and really cared about the characters and what they were doing. I got to talk with them at GenCons back in the nineties, and they are great people as well as great writers.
