March 27: One Shot RPGs

Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 6:00:00 PM Level One Game Shop 400 Grand Blvd #420, Kansas City, MO

If you've never played an RPG, basically we let our inner kids out and we goof around for 3 hours. Each week, we run a new game taken from DriveThru RPG or Powered by the Apocalypse. There are usually pre generated character sheets on offer, but we can help you setup yourself or your ideal hero/villain with abilities and gear.

Some recent adventures were End of the World, Honey Heist, Call of Cthulhu, and World Wide Wrestling. The goals and scenarios change, but we always aim for just enough crazy to keep each other laughing.

Bringing a dice set with you is helpful, but not necessary. You can use ours.

As of 1/18/19, we are going to dive into a D&D 5e homebrew, building up the campaign for a few weeks. After that, I think the sessions will filter in the one shot RPGs with the D&D play.

The homebrew will involve traveling all of the lands and planes of the D&D universe. There is a soft cap of 6 players on those sessions. In the words of our DM, Bobby-
"A fortress full of slavers. The wealth and power of untold planes pumping through it's ports. The armies of the cruel and mighty protecting it.

This is all that stands between you and a ship, freedom filling it's sails, the multiverse yours for the taking.

We are approaching the climax of our weekly 5th edition open table's first act. It sounds epic, but it's mostly me making funny voices and you wondering if I'm okay.

Join us each Wednesday at 6, I'm available beforehand to help on-board new players, all levels of RPG experience welcome.

I'll be available before 6 each Wednesday to help on-board new players and old players alike. The goal here is an ongoing, episodic, open-table campaign from 1 to 20."
