Please Bring:
-The kids. Remember, this group is to help gamers ages 8-12 years find each other. No unaccompanied adults, please.
-Some games. Bring your favorite board game. If you're interested in playing a card game like Yugioh or Pokemon, bring a deck or two. If you'd be willing to teach your favorite card game to a new player, maybe bring a deck to share. However, if you are interested in learning one of these games, I would suggest picking up your own deck and reading over the rules before hand. For those interested in Dungeons and Dragons or other RPGs, you could try bringing stuff, but I would wait to see who's interested first and then plan on it for the next meet up.
Some Notes:
- Please don't bring tablets, hand held video games, or similar devices. The idea is to get the kids away from the screens and interacting in the real world… or as close to it as gamers get.
- No snacks will be provided. The library does allow you to bring food and drinks, but asks that it not be anything that can stain the carpet.
-Parents, please be prepared to stick around. No drop offs, please.
